Collage Curios

Hello there,
I have another class card today using the Collage Curios set, now I'll be honest here, I got this set ages ago but hadn't touched it 'till now! I know, I'm bad!! I actually (as is often the case) really enjoyed playing with it and would even go as far as to say I really liked the whole set! (as did the ladies who came to the class) So, there will be more from this little beauty in the future from me ;-) Well, I suppose I had better stop jabbering and share the card I made then huh?
the images from the set were added with dimensionals, layering some up after inking the edges and adding the small gold and silver brads after the images
Now, at the bottom I added some DSP. Look at the lovely embossing on the Naturals Composition DSP, this 'paper' is more card weight and could easily be used for your card bases, think that might be my next project.... and the blue paper was from Comfort Cafe pack, another pack I wanted to do a set of cards around, I had better get cracking eh?
OK, that's all from me for today :-)
My next class is running on the 27th and 28th May, message me to join us!
Laters!

Up, Up and Away

we decorated the paper side with espresso bakers twine and embossed the midnight card layer with the Cloudy Day embossing folder
and the sentiment is included in the set too!
Right, I'm off to cook tea!
Thanks for stopping by today

Summer Sihlouettes

Hello there,
I have a card from last weeks stamp-a-stack class for you today. We used Summer Silhouettes for this one and it was my favourite from the class this week, although I always feel bad for having a favourite I just couldn't resist with this one ;-)
We used the Honeycomb folder to emboss the Primrose Petals Core'dinations card before lightly sanding to create the background...
The ever popular Labels collection framelits were used to cut out the newsprint DSP before stamping directly onto it then adding a black background layer with some cute (retired) vintage style lace trim wrapped around
and the small butterfly punch made these little pretties to decorate the bottom alongside the sentiment from Itty Bitty Banners, I use these dies a ton! (both with and without the stamp set ;-))
Well, that's all from me today, I have loads to share so will be back soon with more!
Thanks for stopping by today,

3d Heart with Hearts die

Hello!
I have a really fun kind of card for you today using the large heart die from the Hearts a flutter bundle. I teamed it with the super bright and funky papers Sunshine and Sprinkles DSP.
Wouldn't this make a cute card for a little girl?
I die cut the larger framelit hole and then the smaller one from the off cut to make the frame shape and the heart was cut out 4 times before I folded them in half and glued them to make the 3d shape :-)
A (retired) sentiment and some spotty striped ribbon with rhinestones finish this card!
I'm off to school in a mo to make pizzas with Zack so must dash!
Back soon with lots more cards
Thanks for stopping by today

Dress Up Welcome

Hello there,
I have a set to share with you today that I made a little while ago when the lovely Pam joined my SU! team :-)
I always like to send a little "Welcome" gift to my new downline and this is usually a selection of ribbons to get them on their way without having to buy all the rolls and an ever useful note book along with a little card to say welcome to the Southern Belles. There is an offer on this month giving you an extra £25 worth of goodies when you join see HERE to join or HERE for details (scroll down to bottom of page) :-)
Anyway, here is the set I sent Pam...
I used the negative from the dress up framelits with Marina Mist spotty paper, the pretty flower is from the Artisan Embellishment kit
and a build a brad in the bottom corner
I covered the matching note book in more neutrals white card with another dress and a silver glimmer mannequin :-)
 Daffodil delight seam binding bow
and the ribbon pack, which I decorated with the cut out dress from the card.
Well, that's all for today from me, I hope you have enjoyed this little post.
Back soon with more for you!

Football card and This and That close ups!!

Hello there,
I have been making cards like mad this week and so blogging has (unfortunately) taken a  bit of a back seat while the creative part of me takes a hold ;-) Apologies for that but on the up side I have a LOAD of stuff to share with you and I will be sitting down today (Sunday) and scheduling plenty of stuff to share with you all!
So, first of all today I have a simple little card for a football crazy boy I know who's birthday has just been. I used the retired Goal stamp set but there is the cool set called "Great Sport" available now with lots of sports catered for in this set!
Now, Harrison is a Southampton fan and there kit colour is red so this is the card I made. I am assured he loved it but as Zack was poorly on H's b.day we didn't hang around, seeing as some "Sharing is Caring" is not so cool ;-)
some footballs were added with dimensionals
and a shot of the inside
Now, I ordered the new "This and That" collection of goodies this week and they were so much more than I hoped even and so I thought I would share some close up pics with you today. I was having a closer look during my class today and got r-e-a-l-l-y excited by the card making possibilities this set offered (isn't that right Jenny??) as well as the super cool scrapbook which I'll go into in a sec....
This is the bundle which has a coll 15% off 'till the end of May, message me to order yours today!
Scroll down for lots more close ups...
Look at this super cute stamp, I love the industrial style of it and the clever info on the front telling you what the sentiments are, see the little square hole on the front left? that has a number in so you know which sentiment is currently ready to stamp (Jenny, duh me again?? Lol!!)
These stickers are fan-flippin'-tastic! so cool for cards, I am totally in love with these and have ideas for so many of them, I love how they are easily adaptable for both cards and scrapping!
Washi tape, I H-E-A-R-T this!!! I will be using this a lot, keep watching as I am going to be sharing lots when I get chance to play later this week
This is the paper pack, I love the vintage feel and all the sheets have at least one side that has smaller patterns for card makers but all are suitable for scrap booking as you would expect ;-)
and finally for this set is the book, I was surprised to see the pages inside are all make with patterned paper (perhaps I should read the small print more??) Anyway, nice and thick these pages are too! Some even have cute little pockets, it's so cool!!
more papers in the book....
OK, so you can tell I'm really excited about this and dying to have a play!
I hope I haven't bored you with all the pics but please remember the extra 15% off, making it a fab £29.24, is only available 'till the end of the month.
I am placing an order on the the 15th so if you would like to add to it then please message me with the details of what you would like, FREE post if you can collect from me too!
Right, I'm off for now but will be back soon with more craftyness,

Anniversary Card

Hello there,
So today I have a little break form the Hearts a Flutter bundle for you!! Lol!
And as it was our 17th wedding anniversary last week I (obviously) needed to make my DH a card :-) and as I had the Mr & Mrs stamp out I thought it would be perfect teamed with the Scallop Heart of Hearts die and a couple of letters from the (retired) Timeless Type Alphabet.
I went with a favourite colour combo of Sahara Sand, Basic Black and Summer Starfruit.
I stamped a few stars using the Itty Bitty stamps from the Spring/Summer catty using Versamark {as I had the Mr & Mrs image}, and punched them out with the star punch before adding them to the corners,
I added the heart with dimensionals
3mm taffeta ribbon with a couple of staple accents and the "pinking edge" was created using the Finishing Touches Edgelits
and some decoration inside to finish the card...
Now, I found some East of India ceramic letters when I was out shopping the other day, which I loved, so I decided to add them to a keyring with some ribbon and so I needed a way to present this small gift to my hubs...
Same colours, same stamps and dies, just add the Two Tags die and voilà!
the little tiles and ribbon close up ;-)
Well, thanks for visiting today. I hope you have enjoyed my card and packaging idea for today and I will be back soon with  more crafty goodness :-))))

More hearts a Flutter!

Hello there,
I hope you are all enjoying the lovely bank holiday weekend, I have had a very enjoyable day crafting and relaxing a little, it's been lovely and I have felt very inspired!
So, I have a couple more card to share with you today using the Hearts a Flutter bundle again. Please excuse the dark spot on the pics, hubs has now cleaned the lens on my camera so it should be OK in the future ;-)
Anyway, these were more I made for my team newsletter, the same as the last post. I really wanted to just do lots of different things with just one set. For this first card I used the Easter(ish) themed papers Birds of a Feather, to make a very Non-Easter style card!
I added a Silver button, an In Colour Dahlia in Primrose Petals, and a little bit of Victoria Crochet Trim  between these pennants,
moving along you'll see some white stitched grosgrain, some (more) Vintage Faceted Buttons and some Primrose Petals ribbon...
and a close up of the smallest sized Soda Pop Top which I added a punched circle of the paper in the centre of adding a rhinestone, filled it with Crystal Effects and sprinkled it with Dazzling Diamonds glitter. Leave flat to dry before adding to the pennant with glue dots.
I like that this card has has plenty going on and lots of depth already so I glued the pennants straight down along the bakers twine and onto the card panel at the front of the card.
Next up I have a card which could be used for a Wedding, Anniversary or simply a card to send someone you love!
It was a really quick card to make even allowing time to stamp and die cut the extra hearts, you simply stamp the heart outlines along the centre first and go back and fill in each with a different element :-)
I added the patterned hearts with dimensionals and the silver punched hearts were glued using Tombow. Finishing with more of  the fantastic Flower Trim ribbon which was added using glue dots.
I loved this second card so much I made a similar version for class this week, with a choice of sentiments too, the first is the single stamp Mr and Mrs and the second is from the set called From My Heart, I love the vintage look of this sentiment :-)
and here are all the Hearts a Flutter bundle cards again to finish for today.
I hope that I have inspired you and shared a few new ways to get the most from this really lovely bundle.
If you would like to order this or any other goodies from the current catalogues then please feel free to email me with your order or any questions or queries you may have too :-)
Thanks as ever for looking today and enjoy the rest of the Bank Holiday weekend!
